WM. TOOKEY, FORMER COUNTIAN DIES

William Robert Tookey died Friday afternoon at the Dodge county Hospital.

Deceased was born on April 15, 1885 in the Sutherland school district west of Blair where he lived until 1899 when the family moved to a farm on Maple Creek south of Hooper where he had since made his home. He and his brother operated the farm.

Mr. Tookey was married to Mabel Dyson of Fremont December 18, 1926 at Lincoln. He served three terms as school director for District 21 of Dodge County.

His survivors include his widow; one son, Robert, at home; two brothers, Fred Tookey who lives on the farm and Harvey Tookey of Lincoln; and four sisters, Mrs. May Shaffer, North Bend; Mrs. Elizabeth Marshall, Washougal, Washington; Mrs. Carrie Wilding, Portland, Oregon; and Mrs. Evelyn Christensen, Stanton, Oregon.

Funeral services were held last Tuesday.
