LT. L. CRAPENHOFT FORMER COUNTIAN BURIED IN OMAHA

Funeral services for Lt. Lloyd Crapenhoft, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle H. Crapenhoft, formerly of this place, but now of Omaha, were held in Omaha on Thursday afternoon at the Crosby-Meyers Funeral Home. Full military services were conducted with burial there.

Lt. Crapenhoft was killed in a plane accident; he had been home on a furlough a few weeks prior to the accident, and had received his orders to go to India, expecting to leave for overseas within a few days.

The deceased was 22 years of age, and was a grandson of well known Arlington pioneers, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Crapenhoft, also now of Omaha, and he was born on the Crapenhoft farm east of town where his parents lived.

His wife, Elizabeth, also survives him.
