MRS. PETER TRUHLSEN RITES WED.

Mrs. Peter Truhlsen, a lifelong resident of this county, passed away Sunday at 9 p.m. at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha following an illness of nearly five months.

Last April she broke her leg and apparently this was the cause of the long illness which terminated in her death.

As Christine Reeh she was married to Pete Truhlsen in 1898, and they immediately started farming which was their life work. To them four children were born, two of whom are still living, Elmer near Tekamah and Clifford who resides in the McCarthy School District south of Blair.

Besides these members of the immediate family, she leaves two brothers, Gus and Will Reeh, and one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Richter of near Herman.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday of this week from the Methodist church with Rev. John P. Brooks officiating, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
