MRS. G. H. BERGMANN RITES AUGUST 15TH

Mrs. Emma Kathryn Bergmann, wife of George Bergman of near Bennington, died August 12, 1943 at an Omaha hospital after an illness of one week.

Mrs. Bergmann was formerly Emma Kerstetter, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Kerstetter of the Washington vicinity. She was born at Hooper, Nebraska on April 23, 1894, and was 48 years, 3 months and 23 days old. She was married to George Bergmann April 6th, 1921. To this union were born four children of whom three are left to mourn her death.

The deceased is survived by her husband, one son, Robert, 13, and two daughters, Joyce and Jean, 10; two brothers, Frank Kerstetter of Norfolk, Nebraska, Ernest of Blair; one sister, Mrs. Roma Jefferson of Harperville, Georgia.

Funeral services were held Sunday, August 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Hadan Mortuary at Bennington, and conducted by Rev. W. F. V. Churchill. Interment was made in the German Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Kruse, Ralph Bucknole, W. B. Jefferson, Chris Bergmann, Sam Holstein and Henry Braesch.
