CHAS. KNUDSEN DIES IN OMAHA

Charles Knudsen, a native of this county, died in Omaha on August 9. He was born on a farm in the south part of this county on February 19, 1875 where he grew to manhood and continued to make it his home until about ten years ago when he moved to Omaha.

He was married to Pauline Perrot of Omaha, and the wife and one son and a granddaughter are left with his only brother, J. P. Knudsen of Kennard, to mourn his death.

In his farming activities he was industrious, and his dealings with his fellow men were marked for their honesty.

Funeral services were held at the Kremmer Funeral Home of Benson on last Thursday, and interment made in the Prairie View Cemetery near Washington. The pallbearers were A. C. and J. L. Andersen, Albert Hansen, Christ Nelson, Nels M. Nelson, J. P. Christensen.
