FRANK M. JENKINS BURIED IN BLAIR

Funeral services were held at Bendorf Funeral Home Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. for Frank M. Jenkins of Lenox, Ia. Rev. D. D. Kennedy, minister of the Baptist church, officiated. Burial was made in Blair cemetery.

Born to John P. and Catherine Jenkins of Stromsburg, Nebraska on February 10, 1879, the deceased was 64 years old when he died at his home at Lenox, Iowa on June 29. In early life the family lived in Kansas, in Johnson, Nebraska where he went to school, and at Lincoln where he enlisted in the Spanish-end of the conflict. In 1905 he came to Blair where he was married on February 8, 1906 to Miss Maude Patrick of Blair. The couple lived briefly at Omaha, Tekamah and Herman, and they came to Blair in 1915 where they lived until her death in 1931.

In 1932 he was married to Mrs. Bertha Barlow of Decatur where they lived until 1938. They moved to Iowa, living at Osceola, Green and Lenox until his death.

His chief occupation was the automobile business and accessories, but he was engaged in farming while in Iowa until his health failed.

He is survived by his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Russel Harrison of Los Angeles; a grandchild, Suzanne Harrison; a stepson, Charles T. Barlow and family and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was a member of the Presbyterian church at Green, Iowa at the time of his death.
