MRS. DORN DIED IN HERMAN HOME

Mrs. Barbara Ellen Dorn, aged 85 years, died on Sunday, June 20, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Claude Frye of Herman. Funeral services were held the following Wednesday with Rev. John I. Paton of Tekamah officiating.

Mrs. Dorn broke her hip about three years ago, an accident from which she never recovered and which brought about her death.

Born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on March 17, 1858, Mrs. Dorn was the mother of seven children. The bereaved husband and two of the children preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Charles G. and Louis T. Dorn of Tekamah; two daughters, Mrs. W. J. Stone of Joplin, Missouri and Mrs. Claude Frye of Herman; also 22 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
