MRS. J. A. HILLMAN DIED WEDNESDAY

Mrs. J. A. Hillman passed away Wednesday morning just after midnight, following a stroke which occurred at the Swimming Pool park at the picnic and community singing held there on Monday evening.

Deceased had been in poor health for several years, suffering from high blood pressure, but for the past few months was thought to be much improved.

Mrs. Hillman was born January 9, 1886 in Iowa. On November 25, 1903 she was married to J. A. Hillman, and to this union five children were born - Mrs. Carroll Thornburgh and Mrs. George Nelson of Blair and Mrs. John Toft and Myrl Vineyard of Los Angeles, California and one son, Earl, of Grand Island; besides these, seven grandchildren, two sisters and four brothers with the bereaved husband mourn her death.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at two o’clock from the Campbell Mortuary with Rev. Hargrove of Omaha officiating, and interment will be made in the Blair cemetery.
