A. D. KNIGHT DIES IN OMAHA HOSPITAL

Arthur D. Knight, who is well known in Washington and Douglas Counties, died at the Lutheran Hospital in Omaha on Tuesday afternoon, June 15. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Irvington Congregational Church where Mr. Knight had been a deacon for forty years and Sunday School Superintendent.

Born November 7, 1868, Mr. Knight spent his entire life of more than 74 years at the farm home near Irvington, originally homesteaded by his parents.

He leaves to mourn him his widow, Emma; a son, Harvey; daughters, Mrs. Fred Westergaard (Beatrice) of Blair and Mrs. William Smith (Vada) of Omaha; also a sister, Mrs. George Rice, Coral Gables, Florida.

Burial was made in the family lot at Mount Hope Cemetery in Benson.
