Services for Joseph Peter Jaber were held Saturday, January 1, 1972 at the Saint Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Mr. Jaber died on Wednesday, December 29, 1971, at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital. Mr. Jaber was 55 at the time of his death.

Mr. Jaber lived with his wife, Ruby, in Kennard, Nebraska. Mr. Jaber was a farm laborer in this area for many years. Joe Jaber was born at Louisville, Nebraska on April 11, 1915.

Surviving, besides his wife, Ruby, are the following: his mother, Mrs. Rosie Jaber of Blair; a brother, Tom Jaber of Omaha; 2 sisters, Minnie Jaber of Blair and Mrs. Glen (Amelia) Metzler of Omaha.

Father Daniel F. Brick officiated at the 11:30 a.m. service from the St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church. Burial was in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair. Arrangements were handled by the Campbell's Mortuary.

Pall bearers were Stan Bednar,Bob Macholan, Henry Bergschneider,Bernard Thompson, Calvin Metzler and Harold Metzler.
