MRS. MAUDE FRENCH RITES ON FRIDAY

Mrs. Maude French, a twin sister of Claude L. Reid, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Murphy of Benson. She had been suffering from ulcers of the stomach, but was thought to be improving when she took a sudden turn for the worse and died Wednesday morning.

She was born in Omaha October 24, 1864, and grew to womanhood and spent her entire life in this state. On September 30, 1885, she was married to William Eldon French, and they settled on a farm in the Kennard vicinity.

Four children were born to Mr. and Mrs. French, Mrs. John Murphy of Benson; Allison, Fred and Charles, all residing near Kennard.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. from the Bendorf Funeral Home just one week after the funeral of her twin brother, Claude L. Reid, and the same minister, A. W. Clarke of Herman will officiate. Interment will be made in the Arlington cemetery.
