MRS. DORA MASTERS, WELL KNOWN COUNTY WOMAN, DIES

Had Been In Failing Health For A Number Of Years

Mrs. Dora Masters, widow of the late C. P. Masters of Arlington and well known old settler of Washington County, died early this morning, April 15. She had been in failing health for the past two years, and was bedfast since July.

Born March 28, 1862 at Watertown, Wisconsin, Mrs. Masters came to Iowa as a small child. In 1882 she came to Nebraska to make her home. Her marriage to C. P. Masters was solemnized at Reels, Iowa on December 25, 1884, and the couple returned to the Arlington vicinity to farm.

Mr. and Mrs. Masters retired to a home in Arlington in 1910. Mr. Masters died about eight years ago.

Surviving Mrs. Masters are a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Pfeiffer of Arlington; a brother, Ernest Wagers of Arlington; and five half brothers, all of Council Bluffs.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Arlington Methodist church with Rev. David Simpson officiating. Reckmeyer and Son have charge of funeral arrangements.
