E. S. PEDERSEN BURIED TUESDAY

E. S. Pedersen, resident of Blair and Washington County for his entire life, died in Blair on Sunday, April 4. Services were held at Bendorf Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon, in charge of Rev. John P. Brooks, and burial was made at Kennard.

Born near Orum on April 11, 1900, Pedersen would have been 43 years of age next Sunday had he lived. He was married to Miss Nelle Shooey on April 19, 1920; one daughter, Betty Jane, was born to them.

He had farmed most of his life, although for a number of years he was a salesman in the employ of a local business firm. More recently he had followed the painter’s trade, although he had been in poor health for a number of years; for the past six months he had been unable to work.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Marie Pedersen of East Colfax Street, with whom he made his home; a sister, Mrs. Willis Biggerstaff of New Castle, Nebraska; brothers, Chris of Omaha; J. P. of Chicago; August of Fremont; Oscar and Leonard of Blair and Ted of Bellevue.
