We are in receipt of a clipping from the Manitou Springs Journal containing an obituary of Mrs. May Morris Ramsey whose death occurred suddenly from a hemorrhage on Sunday, September 24th at her home at Manitou, Colo. The funeral was held on the 26th, being conducted by Rt. Rev. Irving P. Johnson, bishop of Colorado. May Morris was born in Brooklyn, Ia. Feb. 6th, 1877, and was therefore past 45 years of age. When she was a young girl the family moved to this city and most of her girlhood was spent here. In 1904 she went to Casper, Wyo., leaving there in 1911 for Manitou, which had been her home ever since. Her father, Herbert Morris, is deceased. Her mother, Ellen Everett, now Mrs. Richards, resides with her son in Los Angeles, Calif. She leaves an unmarried daughter, Ruby Gertrude Denny. Also two half brothers, Waller S. Richards of Omaha, Neb. and Wm. H. Richards of Los Angeles and two half sisters, Mrs. Minnie Reisenburg of Chicago and Mrs. Ella Huntoon of Springfield, Neb. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery at Colorado Springs, Colo.
