13 Sept., 1922 - The Pilot - Rosella Watson

Rosella, baby daughter of Frank K. and Rosa Watson, was born at Cedar Rapids, Iowa April 24th, 1919, and died in Omaha, Nebraska September 7, 1922, aged three years, four months and fourteen days. The mother, Mrs. Rosa Watson, died at the time of the birth of the deceased, leaving a family of six children. Rosella was a sweet little girl and was loved as the flower of the family. When she was one month old she went to live with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Lewis of Omaha, formerly of Blair. They were all they could be to this little girl, and to them her death was like losing their own daughter. She leaves to mourn her seemingly untimely death her father, two sisters, three brothers, grandmother, her aunt and uncle with whom she lived and many other relatives and friends. The funeral was conducted from the local M. E. church, the pastor in charge, and the little body was buried in the Blair cemetery Sunday afternoon, September 10, 1922.

INFANT BROUGHT TO BLAIR FOR BURIAL

Rosella, infant daughter of Frank D. and Rosa Watson, was born at Cedar Rapids, Iowa April 24, 1919, and died in Omaha September 7, 1922, aged 3 years, 4 months and 14 days. The mother died at the time of the birth of the child, leaving a sweet little girl and was loved as the flower of the family. When she was one month old she went to live with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Lewis of Omaha, who formerly lived in Blair. They were all that could be to this beautiful little girl and to them her death was that of a daughter. She leaves to mourn her seemingly untimely death her father, two sisters, three brothers, grandmother, aunt and uncle and other relatives. The funeral was conducted from the local Methodist church, the pastor, Rev. J. A. Johnson in charge and the little body was laid away in the cemetery here Sunday afternoon.
