12 Apr., 1922 - The Pilot - T. B. Laughlin - Civil War Veteran

Word came last week to relatives of the death of T. B. Laughlin at Crawford, Neb. March 22, 1922. Thomas B. Laughlin was born in Sparta, Indiana on July 10, 1866, and died March 22 aged 76 years, 8 months and 12 days. He was united in marriage to Miss Georgia Anna Clements at Lawrenceburg, Indiana, who preceded him in death passing away on October 14th, 1920 after 54 years of wedded life. To this union nine children were born, three sons and six daughters, one daughter dying in infancy and one son passing away in 1917. In January, 1867 he moved to Monroe, Iowa where he resided until 1885 when he moved to Herman, Nebraska where he lived with the exception of a few years spent on a homestead in Gosper county until 1914 when he moved to Crawford, Neb. where he resided until his death. Mr. Laughlin served his country in the Civil war being a member of Co. K 9th division Indiana cavalry. He was a member of Landmark lodge 222 A.F. and A.M. of Herman, Nebr. and a member of the M.E. church.
