#1-1 Feb., 1922 - The Pilot - Mrs. Chris Hansen

Mrs. Chris Hansen died quite suddenly of pneumonia at the family home in this city last Saturday noon, having been sick just a week. She had been bothered with heart trouble before, so was ill prepared for such a disease as pneumonia. The funeral service was held at the Catholic church at 10 o’clock Monday morning, Father Byersdorfer officiating. Deceased was born in Wisconsin in March, 1853, and was therefore almost 69 years of age. She was married to Mr. Hansen in Omaha twenty seven years ago, and they have made their home in this city for the past fifteen years. Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters by her former husband, Mrs. R. B. Folda of Colfax county who was present for the funeral service and Mrs. Katie Hightower who lives in California.

MRS. CHRIS HANSEN HAS ANSWERED FINAL SUMMONS

Mrs. Mary B. Hansen, wife of Chris Hansen (of the Hansen meat market) died at her home in this city at 12 p.m. Saturday, having been sick for several weeks.

Mrs. Hansen was 69 years old, and had been twice married. Two daughters of the former marriage, besides her husband, survive her. One daughter, Mrs. Folda of Howells, Nebr., was present at the funeral. Another daughter resides in California.

Funeral services were conducted Monday morning at 10 a.m. at the Catholic church, Rev. Fr. Beyersdorfer officiating.

Interment was made in the Blair Catholic cemetery.
