Miss Marie Petersen died at noon today at the Blair hospital, and the funeral will be held at the Danish church at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon. She was born in Omaha, and her mother was taken to the hospital for the insane at Hastings when she was but five years old. Her father died at Craig in 1899, and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Hansen of this city took her and raised her. She has suffered with cancer for several years, having had two operations. She leaves two brothers, John of Fremont and James of New York state.
