ANDERSON McCOY

Funeral services for Anderson McCoy of DeSoto, who died last Friday, Sept. 15, were held from the Reorganized Latter Day Saints church in Blair on last Sunday afternoon at 2:30.

Mr. McCoy was born in Pike county, Kentucky about seventy two years ago, and had lived for over thirty years at DeSoto where he was well and favorably known.

At the time of his death he was visiting his daughter, Mrs. Fred Reichenbaugh, southeast of Arlington.

He leaves a wife, two sons, three daughters and twelve grandchildren.

Att’y. Carl T. Sels of Omaha conducted the funeral services, and a number of his old time friends served as pallbearers.

Anderson McCoy, aged 75 years, died at the home of his daughter near Dale on Friday, Sept. 15. He had been a resident of DeSoto for over thirty years and is well known all over this part of Washington county. He is survived by his wife, two sons and three daughters. The funeral was held from the L.D.S. church Sunday afternoon, Elder Cal T. Self of Omaha preaching the discourse. A quartette composed of Mrs. J. P. Jensen, Miss Ethel Mead, Don C. VanDeusen and Nels Lindberg sang several appropriate selections. Interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
