#1-4 May, 1922 - The Enterprise - Roma Ruth Tegt

Roma Ruth, the fifteen months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tegt of Fremont, who has been seriously ill with pneumonia at the home of the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ervey near Blair, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, May 2, after a hard struggle of a week’s duration.

Mrs. Tegt, who was formerly Miss Fern Ervey, was on a visit to her parents when the little one became ill, and the case has been a very serious one from the start.

She leaves, besides the heartbroken parents, a little sister, Ella Jean, three years old who is a great comfort to the parents, also the devoted grandparents and other near relatives.

Funeral services were held this Thursday afternoon, May 4, at 2 o’clock at the Harry Ervey home, Rev. W. H. Underwood having charge of the services.

INFANT DAUGHTER OF MR. AND MRS. TEGHT DIES

Roma Ruth Tegt, the fifteen months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tegt of Fremont, died at the home of Mrs. Tegt’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ervey, on Tuesday afternoon, of pneumonia following an illness of only a few days.

Mr. and Mrs. Tegt and two small children had been visiting at the Ervey home for a couple of weeks when the little girl was taken ill.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Ervey home, conducted by Rev. W. H. Underwood and burial was made in the cemetery here. The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of a large circle of friends in their bereavement.

The mother was formerly Miss Fern Ervey, a graduate of the Blair schools and afterwards a teacher in this county.
