PIONEER LADY PASSES

The funeral services of Mrs. E. M. Cook, a pioneer of Washington county, was held at her late home in Omaha on Sept. 3.

The deceased lived for many years on the west side of Washington county, where she was well and favorably known.

With her family she moved to Benson, a suburb of Omaha, a number of years ago. She had been ill for several weeks. Besides her husband, she leaves five children, Allie of Benson, Mabel at home, Myron of Arlington, Clyde of Arlington and Lloyd of Benson.

Many early day friends and neighbors of the deceased showed their esteem and respect by attending the services in Omaha.
