Winifred Jacobberger, 75, of Tekamah died early on Friday morning, September 11, 1987, at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha after a lengthy illness.

She was born on May 3, 1912 at Lincoln to Edward J. and Alice V. (Olson) Houck.

She was married to Bertram A. Jacobberger on June 14, 1929, at Omaha.

The couple lived in California prior to retiring and moving to Tekamah in 1964.

Mr. Jacobberger passed away on January 5, 1978.

Survivors include one son, Bob Jacobberger of Omaha; two daughters, Pat Jacobberger of Washington D.C., and Carol Hobart of Boston, Massachusetts; two sisters, Ethel Howard of Omaha and Frances Freeman of Grand Prairie, Texas; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one son, Gerard Lee, in 1955.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 1987, at the Hamel & Peck Funeral Chapel in Tekamah with Fr. John McCaslin officiating.

Interment was in the Tekamah Cemetery.
