THIRTEEN YEAR OLD GIRL DIES OF PNEUMONIA

Emma Japp, the thirteen year old daughter of August Japp, died at 11 o’clock Sunday night following a short illness of pneumonia.

Mr. Japp lives 1 1/2 miles north of Kennard where the funeral was held on Tuesday at 2 o’clock p.m., and interment made in the cemetery at Kennard.

It is not often that The Tribune is called upon to chronicle the death of anyone in their teens, for it is usually adults or infants who pass away, and the death of children of this age is especially sad as they have the prospect of a full life before them, and the blighted prospect adds to the sorrow of the family to whom the sympathy of a large list of acquaintances and friends is extended.
