#1-11 Aug., 1921 - The Enterprise - Louisa G. Green Gustin

Miss Louisa G. Green was born Nov. 23, 1849 in Portsmouth, Ohio where she resided until her marriage to Samuel J. Gustin Sept. 21, 1836.

She with her husband came to this county in an early day and have reared a family of seven children, five sons and two daughters.

She died August 6, 1921 at the home of her son, Willard, who resides near Kennard, and the funeral services were held at the Baptist church in this city on last Monday at 2 p.m., and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.

The surviving children are: David of Herman; Ernest of DeSoto, Walter of Morganza, La.; Willard of Kennard; Howard of Blair; Mrs. C. A. Green of Blair and Mrs. A. E. Courson of Omaha.

MRS. LAURA J. GUSTIN DIES AT THE HOME OF HER SON

Mrs. Laura J. Gustin, an old resident of Washington county, passed away at the home of her son, Willard, on Saturday, August 6, 1921, aged 72 years, after a short illness of summer flu.

Laura J. Green was born November 23, 1849 at Portsmouth, Ohio, and was married to Samuel J. Gustin September 21, 1866. She was the mother of five sons and two daughters: David of Herman; Ernest of DeSoto; Walter of Morganza, La.; Willard of Kennard; and Howard of Blair; Mrs. C. C. Green of Blair and Mrs. A. C. Comson of Omaha. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Asa Dixon, Sr. of Los Angeles, Calif. and Mrs. Pyles of Herman, and one brother, James Green, who lives in Montana.

The funeral was held at the Baptist church on Monday at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. C. M. Foreman, and burial was made in the Blair cemetery.
