The funeral of Mrs. Mads Madsen, who suffered a stroke of paralysis recently, was held last Saturday afternoon at her home on the north side.

The deceased was born in Denmark Nov. 1, 1863 and was past fifty seven years old at the time of her death. She was married while still in Denmark to Mr. Mads Madsen, and came to this country about twenty seven years ago, locating first in Douglas county, coming to this county about twenty years ago.

She was the mother of three children, one dying in infancy, a son dying about fifteen years ago at the age of nineteen and one son, Maurice, survives. Mr. Madsen passed away Sept. 25, 1906.
