PROMINENT BURT CO. MAN DIES

Geo. Latta, president of the Plateau Bank of Herman and vice president of the First National bank of Tekamah, died at his home in Tekamah last Sunday after a long illness. Mr. Latta was nearly 70 years of age at the time of his death, and was well known in and around Herman and Blair.

His wife and three children survive him. He was a brother of the late Congressman James P. Latta.

Deceased was a Mason and the Herman commandery went up in a body to attend the funeral last Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Roll Allen and Mr. and Mrs.Lou Latta also attended the funeral.
