Mrs. Margaret Louise Jacobs, 99, died at her home at 1346 Jackson Street on Monday, May 2nd. Mrs. Jacobs was probably the oldest resident of Blair. She was born at Crete, Nebraska, March 20, 1861 but had lived here for many years.

Funeral services were held at the Campbell Mortuary Wednesday morning and burial was made in the Blair cemetery. The Rev. J.D. Johnson officiated at the services.

Mrs. Jacobs is survived by her husband, Richard D. Jacobs and by two daughters, Mrs. Irene D. Miller, of Omaha, and Mrs. Amanda Gatewood, of Orlando, Florida. A stepdaughter also survives. She is Catherine Middaugh, of Ft. Dodge, Iowa.

A brother, Sherman Deefs, resides in Omaha and a sister, Mrs. George Blue, in Kansas City, Missouri.
