The body of a man was found in the Missouri river at Gibson on Monday night and was identified as Jas. S. King of Tekamah, Neb. Mr. King was reared in Blair, and after learning the barber trade moved to Tekamah where for a number of years he followed the trade but later followed farming. He was known to have a large amount of money on his person when he disappeared, and it is thought he was murdered.

Note: No burial records were located. There is a FAG for a James King buried in Potter Field in Omaha, NE that passed away in 1920.
