The sad news of the death of Miss Mary Clark at Denver, Colo., has been received by friends here. Miss Clark will be remembered by many as an earnest, conscientious young woman. She was principal of the schools here for several years, and won the respect of the community by her faithfulness and devotion to her work. On leaving here at the close of the school year two years ago, she took up work in a bank for a rest from the strenuous work in the school room. Later, on account of failing health, she went to Colorado. The remains were laid to rest in a cemetery at Denver beside a sister who was buried there while Miss Clark was principal here.
