6 May, 1920 - The Enterprise - Emma Baumann

Mrs. Emma Baumann was born in Germany July 23, 1825, and passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. J. Miller, early Wednesday morning, April 28, 1920, aged 94 years, 10 months and 5 days. Her death was brought on as the result of a broken hip bone which she received from a fall about three weeks ago from which she could not rally at her advanced age. In 1849 the deceased was married to Henry Baumann in Germany, and the couple migrated to this country in 1883. To this union four children were born, all are living and are Henry, Dora, Lizzie and James. The husband passed away in 1891, and she has since made her home with her daughter. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Miller home, conducted by Rev. T. S. Kesterson of the Baptist church. The remains were laid to rest in the Herman cemetery beside the husband.
