20 Feb., 1920 - The Enterprise - Ed Cooper

Last Friday morning after a short illness Mr. Ed Cooper passed away at the home of his brother at Tekamah. The remains were brought here and laid to rest in the Herman cemetery beside relatives. Mr. Cooper had just recovered from the flu and was getting along nicely when he suffered a paralytic stroke. He had suffered from two strokes in the past, but was able to be up and help himself although partially paralyzed on one side. The deceased was almost eighty years of age. Relatives from here attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Fitch and family and Mr. And Mrs. D. W. Rutledge and family.
