Last Saturday, after a long illness, Mrs. Robert Beales died, and the funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Methodist Church, Rev. John B. Williams, pastor of the Christian Church, preaching the funeral sermon. The church was well filled with friends and relatives. Many came from Omaha and other nearby places.

Hannah Reynolds was born in Coshocter County, Ohio March 11, 1845, and was 74 years, 9 months and 22 days old at the time of her death.

She moved westward to Muscatine County, Iowa in 1863 when 18 years old, and two years later married John W. McBride. Ten years later they came to Nebraska and settled in Washington County on March 17, 1875.

They are the parents of ten children, of whom seven survive: Anna, George, Frank, Rachel, Rosa, Mary and Charles.

Her husband, John W. McBride died August 14, 1901.

Six years later she married Mr. Robert Beales March 18, 1907. He also remains to mourn her departure.

Mrs. Beales lived a humble and useful life, esteemed by all who knew her for many holy virtues and consistent Christian character. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church. A good neighbor, a true friend and an affectionate wife and mother. Her memory will linger long and the remembrance of her kindly ways will be a blessing.
