Everson, Mrs. John (Chapman) Noble, 51

Died 8 December 1911 (date calculated)

Published in the Pilot on 13 December 1911

George Noble received word last Friday that his mother, Mrs. John Everson, was very low and he and Mrs. H. Noble left in the afternoon for Onawa, but she was dead before they arrived. She had been sick for about a year with what is known as Hodgkin's disease, a disease of the glands, and death came more suddenly than was expected. Mrs. George Noble and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Castetter went over Saturday to attend the funeral, which was held at the Congregational church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. George's father, Ed Noble, died about 18 years ago and his mother was married to Mr. Everson 5 years ago. She would have been 52 years of age in February. Besides her husband and George, her only son, she leaves her aged mother, Mrs. E.A. Chapman, one sister, Mrs. Rose Chapman, of Sioux City, and one brother, George Chapman of Valentine, Neb.
