MRS. MARY POST CHAMBERS PASSES

Mrs. Mary Post Chambers, 87, passed away early Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Wisely who reside west of Blair. Her death had been preceded by a four weeks illness.

Mrs. Chambers was born in Holland May 28, 1855, and came to the United States with her parents when she was 6 years of age. In 1881 she went to Iowa City, Iowa where she made her home for a time with Mrs. Wisely’s parents. She was married in 1888 to J. H Chambers of Cowles, Nebraska, Mr. Chambers having preceded her in death in 1919.

Interment was made at the Elmcreek cemetery at Cowles, Nebraska beside the remains of her husband. Services held yesterday, March 11th.
