HENRY BEERMANN DIES SUDDENLY

Funeral services for Henry Beerman, 69 year old Hooper farmer who died suddenly March 21 of a heart attack, were held at the home at 2 p.m. Monday, March 23, and at the Immanuel Lutheran church east of Hooper at 2:30.

Mr. Beerman was born November 10, 1872 in Germany. He came to the United States at the age of 18, and moved to Hooper; on October 1, 1902 he married Mary Bartling who preceded him in death in 1937. The couple lived on their farm east of Hooper until 1936 when they retired and moved to Hooper.

Surviving are an adopted son, William Stoffer and an adopted daughter, Katie Beerman, who had kept house for Mr. Beerman following the death of his wife. Other survivors include three brothers, Fred of Herman, Herman of Minnesota and William of Germany; two sisters, Mrs. John Krohn of Winslow and Wilhelmina Beerman of Germany.

Mr. Beerman had been a member of Immanuel Lutheran church for 52 years. Rev. Eckhardt officiated at the services Monday, and burial was made in the church cemetery under direction of Wohlmer and Warne mortuary.
