MRS. ALEC FINLAYSON RITES MONDAY

Mrs. Alec Finlayson, an early resident of Blair, died Saturday morning at her home in Sioux City where the family had resided for the past twenty five years.

Mrs. Finlayson was one of the early settlers of this city. The family left here about thirty five years ago for South Dakota where they homesteaded. Later they moved to Yankton and then to Sioux City.

At her death Mrs. Finlayson was past eighty two years of age. The husband passed on a few years ago, and the mother with a daughter and a son continued on in the home until her death.

Blair people who remember the Finlayson family hold them in the highest respect, and their sympathy goes out to the bereaved family.

The remaining members of the family are Belle and Fred at home and Harry, who also resides in Sioux City, and Mrs. Teresa Reed of Wyoming. All were present at the funeral rites Monday. From Blair John Moore and John A. Rhoades were in attendance.
