MRS. C. JACOBSEN RITES WEDNESDAY

Mrs. Carrie Jacobsen, who for years, lived west of Herman, died Sunday evening, May 14th, at the home of her daughter in Omaha.

Born in Norway, December 18, 1872, she came to America in her early life and in 1899 she was married to Jens Jacobsen and went to live on a farm west of Herman. Here she lived until 1936 when she went to Omaha to live with her daughter. The husband died in 1915.

Three children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Jaccobsen, one son, Andrew in the service, and two daughters, Mrs. R.H. Linden of Tekamah and Mrs. R.C. Donnelly of Omaha; also three brothers, one residing at Bemidji, Minnesota and two in Norway.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at two o'clock from the Bendorf Funeral Home and interment was made in the Herman Cemetery.
