GUSTAVE M. JUNGE DIES IN OMAHA

Gustave M. Junge, who was in business as a barber in Kennard and Bennington for 38 years prior to his retirement in 1932, died September 10 at the Florence Home for the Aged in Omaha.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 14, at the Kramer Funeral Home in Benson at one o’clock and at St. John’s Lutheran Church at 2:30, Rev. W. F. V. Churchill officiated. Interment was made in the German Cemetery in Washington County; pallbearers were J. C. Travis, George Mende, Guy Dixon, and John Roehe of Omaha; William Jahnel of Blair; and Fred Peterson of Bennington.

Born in German in 1868, Junge came to America 52 years ago; he had been an American citizen ever since that time. Besides his widow, Augusta, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John Dierks of Bennington; 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; 3 brothers and a sister in Germany. A son, John, preceded him in death.
