MRS. CHRISTINA ALBACK DIED WED.

Mrs. Christina AlbacK of Herman died Wednesday, October 28. She was seventy nine years of age, having been born on June 1, 1865.

Funeral services will be held at one o’clock, Friday afternoon, at the Campbell Mortuary, followed by services at the Presbyterian Church of Florence at 2:30 o’clock. Burial will be made in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Christina Alback of Herman were held Friday afternoon at one o’clock at the Campbell Mortuary in Blair with Rev. A. W. Clarke of Herman in charge. A second service followed at the Presbyterian Church in Florence, and burial was made in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.

As Christina Jensen, the deceased was born in Bronderslev, Denmark of June 1, 1863. On her 25th birthday - June 1, 1888 - she was married to Andrew Alback. Five children, one of whom died in infancy, were born to them.

The Alback family moved to a farm near Omaha in 1891, and in 1921 they moved to Valley, Nebraska where Mr. Alback passed away three years later. Mrs. Alback spent the remainder of her life among her children.

Mrs. Alback died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Johnson of Herman, on Wednesday, October 28, at the age of 79 years. She is survived by her sons, Chris of Omaha and Andrew of Herman; her daughters, Mrs. Mary Uloek of Omaha and Mrs. Lena Johnson of Herman; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and by Jens E. Jensen of Blair, who made his boyhood home with the Albacks.
