SERVICES FOR TED THERKELSEN

Funeral services for Theodore Therkelsen, resident of Blair for 70 years, were held at the Campbell Mortuary Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev. Harold C. Jorgensen, pastor of the First Lutheran Church, had charge of the final rites and also conducted a commitment ceremony at the Blair cemetery.

Born in Viele, Denmark October 19, 1868, Mr. Therkelsen was 74 years old at the time of his death on Saturday, November 7. He came to Blair when he was four years old, and had made his home here ever since.

On May 12, 1892 he was united in marriage to Louisa Campbell; she preceded him in death on May 10, 1923. Two sons were born to their union, Harold who survives and Raymond who passed away last February. Other survivors include four grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. William Scherdin of Blair.
