LARS HANSEN RITES WEDNESDAY

Lars Hansen, a resident of Blair since 1925, passed away Sunday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Carrie Simonsen, south of Blair.

He came to America from Asens, Denmark in 1877, settling first in Clay County, Nebraska, near Sutton. Later he moved to Seward County and in 1925 to Blair.

On April 22, 1925 he was married to Mrs. Tange Petersen. Surviving him are two daughters, Mrs. Carrie Simonsen, Blair; and Mrs. Joe Hansen of Beaver Crossing, Nebraska; also the widow the eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Deceased was a member of the Lutheran church and he lived the part.

Funeral services were held Wednesday from his home on West Front Street and later from the First Lutheran church with Rev. H. C. Jorgensen and Rev. H. Nielsen officiating, and interment under the supervision of Chris K. Bendorf was made in the Blair cemetery.
