Mrs. Henry Cashman, who resided in Kennard for a long term of years, died at Hastings, Nebraska December 9 at the age of 89 years. Burial was made in Kennard Friday.

As Eliza French, she was born at Union Star, Kentucky on August 6, 1852. She was married in 1870 to Henry Cashman, who died in 1908. Four children were born to their union: Everett Cashman and Mrs. Leona Nelsen, both of whom are deceased; Mrs. Mae Johns of Hastings, with whom she had made her home since 1932, and Mrs. Paul Barry of Florence.
