ARLINGTON MAN, 75, DIES OF BURNS OF OIL LAMP

Found Unconscious At His Home In Arlington; Funeral Friday

John Franksett, 75 year old Arlington man was found unconscious at his home on Wednesday evening of last week, died Sunday noon at the Dodge County Hospital without regaining consciousness. His death was the result of burns from an oil lamp which overturned and saturated his clothing with kerosene.

Mr. Franksett was born in Indiana, coming to the Arlington vicinity as a young man. He had farmed in that community for years, later retiring and moving to town where he was engaged in the real estate business. His wife, the former Stella Foye, to whom he was married at Fremont in 1898, died some years ago.

His only survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Lulu Boyle of Buhl, Idaho, and three grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Franksett will be held on Friday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Reckmeyer Chapel in Arlington, with Rev. Davis Simpson officiating.
