L. SHEPHARD IS ACCIDENT VICTIM

Word reached Herman relatives this week of the instant death of Lawrence Shephard, Woodland, Indiana, as the result of an auto accident last Friday morning. Surviving Mr. Shephard, who was about 30 years of age, are his widow and three children; and his mother, Mrs. Mamie Shephard. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon.

Mrs. Shephard, as Mamie Smith, was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Smith of Herman, and spent her girlhood in that vicinity.
