JOHN McDONALD DIES AT 88

John McDonald, 88, a former Burt county supervisor and prominent farmer of the Burt and Washington County area, died Friday at Craig. He was residing with a daughter, Miss Matt McDonald, postmistress, at the time of his passing.

Mr. McDonald, who was particularly well known in Herman, had achieved local fame as a successful stockman. A son, B. O. McDonald, now of Tekamah, operated a Herman automobile business for several years.

Funeral services were held at the First Presbyterian church at Craig Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock.
