FORMER ARLINGTON VET, 48, DIES

Lawrence Jewett, a World War veteran and former Arlington resident, died August 10 at the age of 48. He passed away in the Fitzsimmons Hospital in Denver and funeral services were held there with full military honors.

Mr. Jewett was the son of Mrs. A. B. Persinger, and was born at Arlington. Survivors are the mother and two brothers, George Jewett of Hood River, Washington; and Will Jewett of Yakima, Washington.
