FORMER BLAIR CHILD SCALDED TO DEATH

Little one year old Clara Ann Gilliam, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Gilliam, died the latter part of the week of burns incurred when scalding water was splashed upon her. The Gilliams, although now residents of Rockford, Illinois, resided in Blair until recently. A short funeral service was held in Blair Monday afternoon with Rev. A. W. Clarke of Herman officiating, and burial was made in the Blair cemetery.

Besides the parents, Clara Ann is survived by her grandmother, Mrs. Clara Whitnack of Herman.
