CECIL BAKER, 94

Services for Cecil Baker, 94 of Arlington who died June 6, 1996, at Arbor Manor in Fremont will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, at the Arlington Community Church in Arlington. Rev. Lee J. Milligan will officiate. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery.

Cecil Baker was born March 18, 1902, in rural Missouri Valley, Iowa. She grew up at Missouri Valley and lived at Lincoln and Kennard until moving to Arlington in 1927. She had been living at Arbor Manor in Fremont since 1993.

She was a member of Arlington Community Church and its Ladies Aid. She was formerly a member of the Happy Hour Extension Club at Arlington.

She married Alfred J. Baker January 26, 1920, at Woodbine, Iowa. He preceded her in death March 16, 1984. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Christopher and Sarah House Yager; a daughter, Eleanor Waldron; brothers, Charles Yager, Clarence Yager and Calvin Yager, and sisters, Iva Edwards and Bessie Yager.

She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Evelyn Baker of Arlington and Alfred E. "Gene" and Etta Baker of Providence, Rhode Island; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Killpack, Kenneth Killpack, Drue Waldron, Dana Waldron, Steve Hughs and Clifford Wulf.

Memorials may be directed to Arlington Community Church or the Arlington Rescue Squad. Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
