G. R. FRENCH DIES SUDDENLY

G. R. French, who had been making his home with his nephew, Earl French of Kennard, passed away in his sleep, the victim of heart trouble. He had not been ill and the end came entirely unsuspected.

Deceased was born in Kentucky on July 11, 1868, and would thus have been 73 years of age at his next birthday. He came to this county in the early stages of its development, and in 1894 was married to Miss Carrie Rosenbaum who passed on in 1924.

He leaves three children to mourn him, Harland of Kennard, Mrs. Pearl Reeh and Mrs. Edith Gaines of Fremont; also two brothers, Thomas E. and Taylor, both of Kennard.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Kennard Methodist church.
