GIFFORD FRENCH RITES SATURDAY

Gifford French, a resident of this county prior to 1935, died in a hospital at Geneva, Nebraska last Thursday, May 1st. Deceased was born at Kennard September 1, 1902, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George R. French. In 1925 he was married to Miss Blossom Holmes, and they continued to live near Kennard until 1935 when they moved to Fairmont, Nebraska, where he made his home until his death.

Besides the wife, he leaves four children in his immediate family, also a brother, Harland French of Kennard and two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Rhea and Mrs. Edith Gaines, both of Fremont.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Fairmont and Saturday afternoon at Kennard, and interment was made in the Kennard cemetery.
